10 Penalties you never knew exist in India

In general if we don't carry our valid driving License and you are fined when u caught.

But we are unaware of these:

1. Having video or flat TV device fixed to Dash board if found traffic police can charge a fine of 100/- in Mumbai.Its a rule in books of country's entertainment capital.
2. Mentally or Physically unfit driver if your driving in Chennai your violating city's Traffic rules and cops get you then you will be fined Rs 200.Wonder how they can enforce this particular rule.
3. Obstructive Parking is a rule in almost all metros.Some one's car blocking your exit in a parking,you can certainly call a police and have the fool cough up fine of 100/-
4. Leaving vehicle on idling i.e., leaving your engine on you are liable to be fined 100/- in Mumbai.Hope this can be implemented in Hyderabad.
5. Failure to give First aid in case of Road accident could land the driver in prison for 3 months or fine 500/- or both in Chennai and Kolkata.
6. Stopped for nothing thats if you allow your vehicle to remain stationary at a public place(bus tands or taxi stands) will earn a fine of 100/- in Kolkata
7. Smoking in the car ,if you are driving in natioal capital and decide to light up ,according to Delhi traffic police you will be fined 100/- for smoking in vehicle.
8. Taking a car without consent "Borrowing a car without his express consent will be disastrous in Chennai.There is a fine of 500/- or 3 months imprisonment or both for the offence.
9. Driving without horn is traffic violation in Delhi which probably mean if your car doesn't have a functional horn ,which ensures that you can warn other road users and is an essential safety device as well,then your liable to be fined 100/-.
10. Abetment of overspeeding is voilation appears in list of traffic police in almost all metros.If you encourage your driver to exceed speed limits you can end up paying 300/- in either Delhi,Kolkata,Chennai
