About Views in Drupal

This module provides flexible method for Drupal designers to control how lists and tables of content are presented.Drupal had hardcoded how Taxonomy and tracker lists are formatted.
This tool is a good query builder ,if provided enough information ,can build a proper query,execute it and display the results.It provides 4 normal and one special mode and so provides better amount of functionality from these modes.
Views can also be useful for generating reports,create summaries ,and display collection of images and content.
Views come out with features like:

• You can sort out default front page view for suppose in alphabetical diction.
• Helpful if you want to use tracker but restrict it to posts of certain type only.
• Useful to display a block with 5 recent updated posts.
• You can provide unread form posts.
• You want a monthly archive that displays a link in the form of "Month YYYY(a)" (here a is no of posts) and displays them in a block.
